About the role
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Red Airconditioning in Albury, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of domestic and commercial air-conditioning systems.
What you'll be doing
- Liaising with existing and securing additional service agreement clients
- Commissioning air-conditioning systems, both domestic and commercial
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on air-conditioning systems
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with air-conditioning systems, and carry out necessary repairs
- Install new equipment as required
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices
- Maintain detailed records of all work completed
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, such as a Certificate III or IV and a full Refrigerant Handling Licence.
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience, preferably in both domestic and commercial/industrial settings
- Extensive knowledge of air-conditioning system components, fault finding and repair techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
- A current driver's licence
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
