The Opportunity
We are looking for local candidates to join our O&M team at Wandoan 1 Solar Farm as our Labourer. Play a rewarding role in exceptional maintenance of our solar farm’s operations.
What we offer:
- $65,000 - $70,000 base salary + super
- Additional overtime and public holiday worked paid at award rates
- Consistent roster available. Choose to work from the following rosters:
- 5 days on, 2 days off (Monday to Friday)
- 4 days on, 3 days off (Monday to Thursday)
- 8 days on, 6 days off (Wednesday to Wednesday)

Your responsibilities as a General Labourer will be:
- Assisting carrying out maintenance checks on solar farm equipment
- Maintaining upkeep of site and plant equipment
- Providing general site duties to ensure smooth operations
- Grounds maintenance of plant/vegetation on site (using mowers, whipper snippers etc.)
- Mechanical technical skills are preferred
- You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train
To be successful as our General Labourer, you will have:
- Experience labouring in a similar field
- Experience with operating a Tractor and Slasher
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bring a positive can-do attitude and sound communication skills You must have experience with operating a Tractor and Slasher
- Ability to pass medical, drug, alcohol tests and Police Check
