About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to support experienced advisers across all aspects of financial advice while you develop into a qualified Financial Adviser through a structured career pathway.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting advisers with preparing financial advice and client strategies
- Researching superannuation, investment, insurance and retirement planning solutions
- Preparing client meeting documentation and follow-up correspondence
- Attending client meetings and taking meeting notesLiaising with clients, product providers and external stakeholders
- Supporting the implementation of financial advice recommendations
- Learning compliance and regulatory requirements
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A genuine interest in financial advice and helping clients achieve their goals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline (desirable, not essential)
