Douglas Transport is currently recruiting for experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their service department in Young, NSW. The successful candidate will need to undertake:
- Diagnostics, repair and maintenance of diesel engines, transmissions, brake and hydraulic systems, steering mechanisms and transmissions on trucks.
- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on trucks.
- Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on trucks.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
- A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant.
Salary range is $75,000-$90,000pa commensurate with experience. Full-time positions available.
