Job Description
Rotoplas Trolleys & Tanks is seeking an experienced Plastics Technician to join our manufacturing team in Unanderra NSW . Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate and operate plastic extrusion equipment.
- Monitor and adjust production parameters to meet product specifications.
- Troubleshoot processing and equipment issues.
- Conduct product testing and quality inspections.
- Perform tooling and product changeovers.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification in Plastics Technology, Polymer Technology, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field; or
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in plastics manufacturing and extrusion processing.
- Experience with PE, HDPE or similar thermoplastic materials.
- Strong process troubleshooting and quality control skills.
- Pipe extrusion manufacturing experience highly regarded.
Salary range is $75,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience. Fulltime Position available Applications open on 13th October 2026 and closes on 13th November 2026
