SCS Packaging are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team in Shepparton VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Running and analysing diagnostic tests on a wide range of packaging systems and equipment.
- Maintain, test and repair/replace mechanical assemblies on the highest quality packaging equipment.
- Perform assessments and repairs in the production sector and workshop.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Selecting tools and equipment.
- Collecting and analysing data, carrying out complex computations and preparing diagrams.
- Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of packaging machines.
- Ensuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of three years’ experience.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience. Fulltime positions available. Applications open on 16th September 2026 and close on 16th October 2026.
