Roylances Automotive & Industrial Pty Ltd is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Forbes NSW. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Diagnose any problems with the vehicles or machinery by using scanning tools and computers.
- Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
- Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
- Logical and clear thinker.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant.
