To commence in 2027, or Late Term 4 if available for handover and Auditions. Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney's North Shore. We are seeking a passionate dance teacher to join our school Co-Curricular Dance Program on a casual basis. Ravenswood is proud of its growing Co-Curricular Dance Program that offers classes for students in Prep to Year 12 in a variety of dance styles.
The successful candidate will:
- Be highly organised with strong communication skills.
- Have the appropriate qualifications with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching Senior School students in Hip Hop.
- Have a keen eye for polishing and refining performance groups in the Hip Hop style, appropriate to a school context.
- Be willing to attend eisteddfods and performance events throughout the year.
- Have a passion for positively building the school's dance program.
- Be willing to take other styles and age groups if necessary.
- Hold up to date CPR and First Aid training.
- Be willing to or has completed safe dance training course recently.
These classes are held on Tuesday afternoons and there is the potential for this role to expand over time. Ravenswood School for Girls is dedicated to maintaining a child safe environment and is committed to the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children. Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide the School with their Working With Children Check number in order to be eligible for this position.
