Your new roleAs a senior Draftsperson you will oversee all drafting activities across the division of the business.
Your key responsibilities
- Project Review and Drafting:Working with all key internal stakeholders, to ensure projects align with business capabilities and solve design-related problemsProduce and coordinate detailed construction drawings, either personally or by outsourcing.
- Maintain a system for producing quality documentation by adhering to company standards and developing checklists.
- Identify trends from errors/issues and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure urgency in meeting company expectations and contribute to weekly workflow updates.
- Ensure drafted projects meet business activity standards, minimising errors/reworks/RFIs.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
What you'll need to succeed
Being a key and senior role within this division, it will be anticipated that as the successful candidate you will possess the following skills and competenciesProven work history within a residential building organisation environment and in-depth knowledge of volume home buildingStrong working knowledge of BCA and codesRevit proficiency preferableStrong analytical skills and ability to problem-solveProven experience of working and contributing as part of a high-performing team
