The City of Onkaparinga operates the Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre (NARC), a leading community facility in southern Adelaide.
Each year, we welcome around 300,000 visitors.
The centre includes a 25m lap and program pool, a family pool, a fully equipped gym, squash courts, multi-purpose sports courts and a busy kiosk.

About the role
As a swimming instructor, you deliver safe, engaging lessons for people of all ages and abilities as part of our Learn to Swim program.
Key responsibilities
- Teach swimming skills and water safety plan lessons based on individual ability
- Monitor progress and provide feedback
- Ensure safety in and around the pool
- Respond to emergency situations

Qualifications and requirements
- Hold or be willing to obtain AUSTSWIM (or equivalent) Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
- Provide First Aid and CPRWorking with Children Check
- Child Safe Environments training
