Family owned, it has traded over 30 years with a strong reputation for customer service and advice, stock availability and technical support. The business has a balanced mix of store based sales, phone and email trading, and website generated sales.
As this is a customer-focused position, candidates should be able to handle a multitude of tasks whilst maintaining a pleasant, friendly manner with all customers. The role is based in the office, weekdays only, with no remote working.
Customer support responsibilities include:
- Welcome and serve customers and visitors who enter the store.
- Answering & directing calls.
- Order entering and invoicing/ Administrative tasks.
- Providing support to Sales Team colleagues on other tasks related to showroom.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a high standard of personal presentation.
- Possess a high level of written & verbal communication skills.
- Possess a reasonable/high level of computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office.
- Website involvement and graphics would be an advantage.
- Be able to work independently & cohesively in a team, be organized and self-motivated.
- Be reliable, adaptable & versatile.
