Managing an organisational budget of over $100 million, you will play a high-visibility role in translating complex financial reporting into actionable insights.
You will oversee a diverse portfolio ensuring the organisations financial strategy aligns with long-term operational goals.
Key responsibilities within the role
- Provide high-level advice to core Business teams regarding budget tracking, accounting updates, and variance analysis.
- Lead the finance business partnering team
- Own the monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, assist in preparing board packs
- perform complex financial modelling to support executive decision-making.
What You Will Need to Succeed
We are looking for a proactive leader who doesn't just report on the \"YTD\" but looks toward the \"future\" to identify gaps and opportunities.
Skills and Experience:
- CA or CPA qualification is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and professional experience with large-scale ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience in people leadership and the ability to \"cascade\" complex data into terminology that operational teams understand.
- strong communication skills with experience managing relationships with Managers and Executive teams.
- Deep experience in financial business partnering, budget forecasting, and complex modelling.
- A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and a desire to understand the \"why\" behind the numbers.
