What you'll be doing
- Operating machinery: Driving pavers, steel/multi-rollers, and skid steers (bobcats).
- Hands-on teamwork: Pitching in with manual labour like raking, shovelling, sweeping, and spotting trucks.
- Quality control: Monitoring asphalt spread rates, depth, and surface texture.
- Daily maintenance: Handling pre-starts, clean-downs, and site housekeeping.
What you need (Experience & Tickets)
- Current Driver's Licence (Mandatory).
- Industry Experience: Proven background in asphalt paving operations.
- Plant Tickets/VOCs: Competency to safely operate paving equipment.
Existing tickets for a Front-End Loader, Forklift, Bobcat (Skid Steer), or an Asphalt Paver (specifically the unit RIICBS305E - Conduct Asphalt Paver Operation) are strongly preferred
- Physical Fitness: Happy to jump out of the cab for manual labour, lift up to 25kg, and work in hot, outdoor environments.
- Team Player: A strong communicator with a safety-first mindset.
