What You Will Do:
- Site & Gear Coordination: Oversee site logistics, maintain small engines (mowers, power tools), and keep workshops clean, safe, and fully stocked.
- Hands-On Mentoring: Work side-by-side with local Yolŋu Supervisors and participants, teaching practical skills in groundskeeping, mechanics, tool safety, and construction projects.
- Logistics & Safety: Execute site purchasing, stock ordering, safety briefings, and operational reporting.
- Community Enterprise: Build strong, respectful partnerships with Elders and Traditional Owners to deliver tough, community-led projects.
What You Bring:
- Practical background in trades, groundskeeping, mechanical repairs, or heavy outdoor operations.
- A drive to mentor, coach, and build capability in others.
- Solid cultural awareness and the resilience to thrive in remote environments.
- A practical, resource-smart approach to drive participant engagement in resource-poor conditions; out-of-the-box problem solving is essential.
- Unrestricted Manual Driver's Licence (mandatory).
- NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) & First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and an understanding of tracking operational outcomes and KPIs.
What You Gain In Return:
- 14% Superannuation (significantly above standard)
- Free Shared Housing + Utilities
