Ready to turn your commercial, sales, or supply chain experience into lasting industry relationships? If you have a background in customer service, sales, logistics, supply chain, real estate, or administration, you already know how vital human connections are in business. If you enjoy connecting with people on a genuine level, solving real-world talent challenges, and having natural, unscripted conversations, this is your opportunity to guide your career toward a fulfilling role as a Recruitment Consultant specializing in Procurement, Contracts & Supply Chain.
Being a Recruitment Consultant means:
- 360 Consultation: You will manage diverse partnerships, managing recruitment pipelines, providing strategic talent advice, and sourcing and engaging talent that will shape our state.
- Autonomy & Work: Take control over your daily desk and diary management, structuring your priorities to foster long-term commercial relationships rather than chasing high-volume activity metrics.
- Market Insight & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor delivering real market insights, benchmark guidance, and salary trends to help public and private sectors across industries make informed career decisions.
- Authentic Relationships: Engage in genuine (sometimes challenging!) unscripted conversations that build real rapport, helping talent navigate critical career moves and helping businesses solve complex operational challenges.
In this role, you will specialize in sourcing and placing top talent within Procurement, Contracts, and Supply Chain functions - vital business capabilities across both public and private sectors.
Industry Engagement: Work directly with partners in critical business areas such as Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Contract Administration, Purchasing, and Supply Chain.
Transferable Skills: Backgrounds in logistics, freight, real estate, B2B sales, or corporate administration translate seamlessly into this domain. Your understanding of vendor relationships, commercial terms, operational timelines, and client service will allow you to quickly understand the influence needed to be successful.
Diverse Client Ecosystem: Partner with established networks across government departments, defence primes, infrastructure projects, FMCG, and commercial enterprises.
What we’re looking for: We welcome people from a wide variety of personal and professional backgrounds who bring curiosity, resilience, and a genuine interest in people.
- Diverse Commercial Backgrounds: 5+ years of experience in Customer Service, B2B/B2C Sales, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, Real Estate, or Corporate/Sales Administration. Candidates with a proven track record of stability and tenure in past roles are highly valued.
- Passion for People & Connection: Warm, approachable, and naturally skilled at building deep, lasting relationships built on mutual respect.
- An Engaging Mindset: Active listening, careful detail-orientation, and a sincere focus on finding outcomes that work for everyone.
