We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Support Officer to provide critical assistance for a full-time, temporary assignment commencing 9 November through to 4 January. Working with an established community services team, this short-term role is designed to support the finance team through a busy end-of-year period.

This position focuses on high-volume invoice processing and transactional data validation to free up core finance staff, requiring someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving high-volume end-to-end invoice processing, uploading and routing incoming supplier invoices and purchase orders.
  • Conducting two-way and three-way matching against purchase orders, identifying variances, and resolving coding or GST discrepancies.
  • Reviewing system-captured invoice data to ensure high-accuracy alignment of transactional amounts, line items, and vendor details.
  • Delivering dedicated Accounts Payable processing support to clear backlogs and maintain SLA standards across busy seasonal workflows.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic audit trails, financial documentation, and supporting the broader finance team with ad-hoc transactional duties.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven end-to-end Accounts Payable experience within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong, practical working knowledge of TechnologyOne (TechOne) and/or Concur is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of invoice matching principles, general ledger coding, and GST treatment.
  • Outstanding speed and precision with large data volumes, paired with a sharp eye for detail when identifying variances.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a demonstrated track record of stepping straight into busy finance teams with minimal training.
  • Full availability and commitment to complete the full assignment duration from 9 November to 4 January.
