The Role
Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, you will plan, run and supervise field exploration programmes and help find the next generation of quality drill targets, including:
- Running field programmes, including mapping, sampling and drill logging
- Directing and supporting Field Technicians and drilling contractors in the field
- Keeping field work compliant with tenure, heritage, and health and safety requirements
- Interpreting data, reporting results and helping identify new drill targets
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- A degree in Geology, Geological Science or similar
- Experience in mineral exploration or mine production geology
- A working understanding of mining, health and safety, heritage and tenure legislation
- Sound organisation and time management, with clear communication across field teams and contractors
- A current West Australian C Class (manual) driver’s licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance.
