About the role
We're seeking casual educators to join our team in Horsham.
You'll pick up shifts at local centres, providing support when they need an extra pair of hands.
You set your availability, and we'll match you with shifts close to home.
This role is ideal for educators wanting flexibility – whether you're studying, managing family commitments, looking for extra hours or returning to the sector.
Key responsibilities
Deliver safe, caring and engaging education to children across all age groups.
Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, rest and nappy changes or toileting.
Encourage children's learning through play, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework.
Collaborate with room leaders and permanent staff to uphold ratios and care standards.
Build warm, professional relationships with children, families and centre teams.
Follow each centre's policies and procedures, including child safety practices.
About you
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently studying towards one.
A current Victorian Working with Children Check (employee, not volunteer).
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
Able to travel reliably to centres in Horsham and surrounding areas.
Flexible, reliable and confident stepping into a new room at short notice.
