Queensland Industrial Cladding – Toowoomba QLD
Join the team at Queensland Industrial Cladding as a full-time Commercial Metal Roofer based in South East QLD.
Current and future projects are in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Gold Coast and Maryborough.
In this position, you will be responsible for the installationof metal roofing for a variety of commercial and industrial projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in the building trades industry and contribute to the growth and success of our dynamic company.
- What you\'ll be doing
- Measure, cut, and fit metal roofing materials with precision
- Ensure roofing installations meet all relevant building codes and safety standards
- Working on a variety of projects including Defence, Reservoirs, Hi-rise as well as commercial and Industrial projects.
- Opportunities for "away work" with accommodation provided.
- Work collaboratively with the broader construction team to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by following all health and safety protocols
- What we\'re looking for
- Proven experience as a commercial metal roofer, with a minimum of 3+ years in the building trades industry
- Strong understanding of metal roofing systems, including installation of flashings and rainwater goods.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining a safe work environment
- A current \"driver\'s licence\" and access to reliable transportation
- Must be reliable, with an understanding that Drug & Alcohol testing may be undertaken.
