About your role

QAL has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor - Maintenance Planning to join our Maintenance Department. Reporting to the Asset Maintenance Superintendent, this role supports our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:

• Leading the planning and scheduling maintenance activities for equipment and systems within the refinery to enable resource productivity and production capability
• Providing Governance to the Work Management Process across the Refinery ensuring standardisation, alignment and improvement in practices
• Developing the capability of the maintenance planning team and stakeholders in Work management through coaching, facilitating training and creating opportunities for development.
• Leading and driving maintenance KPI Deep Dives, Deliver on improvements
• Oversight of budget development, forecasting and reporting

What you will bring

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement in all aspects of your work
• A natural desire to lead, provide governance across and improve maturity in work management processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build trust across teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance management practices, leading teams and implementing process improvements across multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, SAP and other Maintenance Systems
• Experience in developing and forecasting large operational budgets
