Quantum Comms are a well-established company specialising in Rigging, Civils, Comms, EWP and plant hire with a long history of delivering complex projects in the telecommunication field. Currently based in Victoria with presence in Queensland, with the ability to service Clients Australia wide.
About the Job
Due to growth, we are seeking a General Labourer to join our crew. This is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday (preferable work hours 6.00 am to 4.00 pm). The workshop is located in Wallan, with an immediate start.
Mechanic/Labourer responsibilities include:
- Working alongside qualified boilermakers/fabricators assisting on different jobs and projects.
- General cleaning of the workshop and yard.
- Miscellaneous tasks as required.
- Experience in general mechanical repairs, servicing, diagnosis of engine management, troubleshooting, brakes and front end and suspension work.
- Basic auto-electrical skills.
- Willingness to perform tasks such as routine safety checks, wheel alignments, fitting and balancing tyres.
- Component rebuilding would be an advantage.

- Motivated with eagerness to learn and adapt.
- Able to do manual tasks such as heavy lifting, bending and working outdoors.
- Good problem solving and communication skills.
- An understanding of quality, safety and environmental systems and principles.
