You’ll be provided with a fully stocked van, complete with all parts to succeed.
We are looking for someone with experience and the ability to hit the ground running.
About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems on buses for our customers.
This full-time role is based out of our workshop in Penrith, NSW, and includes a company vehicle.
If you like being hands-on, solving problems, and working on-site with customers, this is a fantastic opportunity.
Day-to-day, you’ll be
- Carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations of bus air-conditioning units
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting refrigeration issues
- Installing new refrigeration systems and components
- Keeping accurate records of all work completed
- Delivering great customer service and building relationships with clients
- Working safely and following all industry standards and regulations
- What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a transport refrigeration mechanic is highly regarded; candidates with an automotive electrical background and some air conditioning experience are also encouraged to apply
- Bus or transport industry experience is a bonus, but not essential, as training and development support will be provided
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills to work with customers and colleagues
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on field service work
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
- A commitment to safety and quality in everything you do
