Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, including plumbing repairs, electrical work and HVAC system checks
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities to identify and address maintenance needs
- Repair or replace damaged furniture, fixtures and equipment, and paint and touch up surfaces
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, such as leaks, power outages and heating or cooling problems
- Complete regular safety inspections, report hazards and assist with fire alarm system testing and maintenance
- Maintain an organised inventory of maintenance supplies and order stock as needed
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair or a related field, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general handyperson tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and for on-call emergency situations
