About the role

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Cabin Crew Coordinator to provide essential administrative and workforce coordination support to our Cabin Crew leaders and crew at our Melbourne head office. In this varied and fast-paced role, you’ll play an important part in keeping our Cabin Crew operation running smoothly. You’ll coordinate workforce and onboarding activities, assist with employment, payroll and operational queries, and ensure key employee records, processes and requirements are managed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with teams across Workforce Planning, Training, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and centralised admin team, you’ll build strong relationships and help deliver a seamless experience for our crew. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and making a positive impact behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate workforce activities, recruitment administration and crew movements
  • Support team coordination, meetings and events
  • Maintain accurate employee data, trackers and records
  • Support Cabin Crew onboarding and employee administration
  • Coordinate uniforms, ASICs, passes and other operational requirements
  • Process payroll information, expenses, invoices and leave requests
  • Manage crew compliance and required documentation
  • Partner with key teams to resolve queries and outstanding actions
  • Provide general administrative support to the Cabin Crew and Head Office teams
  • Identify and elevate risks, delays or discrepancies as required
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with our centralised admin team

About you

You thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment where priorities can shift quickly and strong organisation is key. You’ll be confident managing multiple tasks at once, maintaining a high level of accuracy and ensuring important actions are followed through to completion. You bring strong attention to detail, sound professional judgement and a proactive approach to problem-solving. With excellent communication and relationship-building skills, you’ll be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders across the business and providing reliable, high-quality support to both employees and leaders. You also are someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes ownership of your responsibilities and looks for opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

You will need:

  • Experience in administration, payroll, HR or workforce coordination
  • Experience supporting employees and operational leaders
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence managing multiple stakeholders and following actions through to completion
  • A high level of accuracy, confidentiality and process discipline
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience in aviation or another regulated operational environment, although this is desirable rather than essential
  • A qualification in business, administration or a related discipline, which would be highly regarded
