We're growing our Brisbane team and are seeking a Senior Service Electrician to join our Service & Maintenance Division. About the Role
You’ll be working across a range of commercial and industrial sites, completing service, maintenance, fault-finding and minor project works while supporting the ongoing development of our growing Brisbane team. Your day-to-day may include:
- General electrical service and maintenance
- Complex fault finding and troubleshooting
- Preventative maintenance, testing and compliance works
- RCD testing, emergency lighting and thermal scanning
- Liaising with clients and providing technical solutions
- Planning and coordinating work activities onsite
- Mentoring apprentices and providing guidance to junior electricians
- Completing job records and documentation through cloud-based job management systems
- Supporting the successful delivery of service contracts and minor works projects
What we’re looking for:
- QLD A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Minimum 5 years post-trade experience preferred
- Strong background in commercial and industrial electrical work
- Advanced fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in the field
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Ability to lead by example and support apprentices and junior team members
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Safety-focused with a positive attitude
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical
- Highly Regarded Previous Leading Hand or Supervisory experience
- Experience with preventative maintenance and service contracts
- EWP, Working at Heights and other relevant tickets
- Open Cablers Licence
- Experience using AroFlo or similar job management software
- Experience coordinating small projects or work crews
- Sound working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000
