We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Echocardiographer to join our client's team in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in echocardiography to contribute to the delivery of high-quality cardiac diagnostic services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care through accurate and detailed echocardiographic assessments.
Responsibilities
- Performing a wide range of echocardiographic procedures, including transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
- Preparing patients for procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and analysing and interpreting echocardiographic data.
- Maintaining accurate records, adhering to quality control protocols, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiac care.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist or equivalent.
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in echocardiography, including advanced techniques.
- Proficiency in using echocardiography equipment and software.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
