About The Role
Library Team Leader Operations – REQ 298 Permanent Full-time Specific Engagement (140 hours per 4 week roster) Commencing December 2026 Band 5 ($80,974 – $94,167) p.a. + Super + Phone Allowance Ivanhoe Library & Cultural Hub Lead the Way at Ivanhoe Library & Cultural Hub! We’re on the lookout for a passionate Library Team Leader Operations to join our vibrant Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, guide and inspire the team, and deliver exceptional library services that connect and engage our community. You’ll also build strong relationships with our member councils and collaborate across YPRL to keep services consistent, innovative, and community focused. The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified and/or experienced library professional, holding tertiary qualifications in Librarianship recognized by ALIA or another relevant tertiary qualification.
- High customer service, passionate about delivering high-quality, community-focused library services in a branch setting.
- A confident, people-focused leader who motivates teams, communicates clearly, and connects efficiently with diverse audiences.
- Across evolving library trends, you deliver responsive reader services and create vibrant, relevant collections.
- A natural collaborator with a flair for connection—driving results through innovation, influence, and community engagement.
