Fitzgerald Optometry is a well‐established independent practice offering the kind of environment many Optometrists look for but rarely find – supportive colleagues, loyal patients, longer consult times, and the trust to focus on doing what's right for your patients. You'll be joining a collaborative team of three Optometrists in a practice that values genuine patient relationships, continuity of care, and a relaxed but professional culture.

What The Role Looks Like
- Every second Saturday (4‐hour shift)
- 30‐40 minute consult times
- Broad patient demographic from children to mature age patients
- General optometry with variety across routine and clinical care
- Co‐management with Ophthalmologists and GP referrals
Clinical Environment
Equipment including OCT, Visual Fields, Topography, Optos, and IProfiler, allowing you to deliver thoughtful, full‐scope patient care.
Many of the practice's patients have been attending for years, giving you the opportunity to build genuine long‐term relationships and continuity of care.
About You
- Therapeutics qualification (preferred)
- A patient‐first, clinically focused approach
- Confidence working independently while enjoying collaboration with your team
OA membership is included, with salary to be discussed based on experience.
