Protech is seeking experienced and reliable Duct Installers to join a brand-new EBA construction project based in St Lucia, QLD 4067. This project offers top-tier EBA pay rates, site allowances, and the opportunity to work with a leading HVAC team.
We also encourage applications from: Mechanical Plumbers, Refrigeration Mechanics, and other experienced HVAC trades.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Immediate starts with additional projects kicking off over the coming months
- $80.21/hr (EBA Project)
- Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm
- Overtime penalties and site allowances apply
- Weekly pay
- Casual roles with opportunities to transition into permanent positions
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation of Duct Work, vents, grilles, and insulation according to blueprints and specifications
- Installation of Air Conditioning units for commercial sites
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools
- Install spiral, square, and rectangular ducts in accordance with Australian Standards
- Ability to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
TICKETS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Possess all mandatory industry licenses
- EWP, Working at Heights, Scissor Lift, Forklift tickets are advantageous but not required
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- 1+ year of demonstrated commercial HVAC experience
- Have an ability to navigate, understand and troubleshoot an array of HVAC systems
