The Role & Responsibilities
Working within a busy warehouse environment, your duties will include
- Safely loading and unloading supplier vehicles (heavy lifting required).
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Processing orders and maintaining accurate stock records using computer systems.
- Receipting, checking and putting away incoming goods.
- Organising and allocating customer orders.
- Conducting cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory audits.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Providing assistance with customer collections and general warehouse enquiries.
- Following all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Reporting any safety issues or incidents promptly.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable and takes pride in their work.
Ideally, you will have
- Previous experience in warehousing, storeperson, retail or customer service roles.
- Experience with picking, packing and general warehouse duties.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate stock control.
- Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A current and valid driver's licence.
- A positive attitude and willingness to get involved wherever needed.
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work well within a team.
- A commitment to workplace safety and ongoing learning.
Physical fitness is essential , as the role involves manual handling and regular heavy lifting.
