Our client is seeking motivated Storeperson to join their team.

About the Role
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for safely handling steel and tubular products within the warehouse using overhead cranes and other equipment.
You will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately picked, stored, and prepared for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the magnetic overhead crane to move, stack, and position steel and tubular products.
- Load and unload trucks using overhead crane attachments, including magnetic plates and slings.
- Pick and dispatch steel products according to customer orders.
- Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and stock movement (LF Licence advantageous but not essential).
- Undertake training on band saw operation and assist with cutting timber gluts when required.
About You
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate
- A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
- Reliability and commitment to long-term employment.
- Previous overhead crane experience (highly regarded but not essential).
- Experience working with steel products (highly regarded).
- A current LF Forklift Licence (advantageous but not essential).
Essential Requirements
- No pacemakers or metal implants due to the magnetic equipment used on site.
- Commitment to workplace safety procedures.
- Shift Times
- Afternoon Shift - $40.28 (inclusive of shift & casual loading)
- Monday to Thursday: 1:54pm - 10:00pm
Occasional weekend overtime may be available.
