This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented customer service professional who enjoys working across multiple systems, managing data and delivering high-quality customer support. Joining a collaborative team, you will play an integral role in supporting customers across the agricultural industry while ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of genomic testing services.

The Role

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will provide end-to-end customer service and administrative support across the Genomics division. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound calls and email enquiries, providing professional and timely customer support.
  • Process customer orders, sample submissions and associated documentation.
  • Proactively liaise with customers to coordinate sample submissions and follow up outstanding requirements.
  • Coordinate sample kits and collection devices, including inventory management.
  • Generate and distribute genomic data reports and respond to enquiries regarding testing, results and turnaround times.
  • Track and confirm orders, manage customer complaints and process credits through Salesforce.
  • Assist with customer account setup and maintenance within SAP.
  • Provide administrative and sales support to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Maintain and update training documentation as processes and systems evolve.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and greater efficiency.
  • Provide broader customer service support across Genomics, Animal Safety and Food Safety divisions.

About You

You are an organised and adaptable customer service professional who takes pride in accuracy, consistency and delivering a positive customer experience. Comfortable managing competing priorities, you can navigate multiple systems with confidence and communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers and internal stakeholders.

You will bring a proactive approach, a strong work ethic and the ability to build rapport with customers across the agricultural sector, including farmers, producers and industry organisations.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Strong data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, filters, VLOOKUPs and data validation.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using SAP and Salesforce will be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of the cattle and/or sheep industry will be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A reliable, consistent and collaborative approach to work

What's on Offer?
