Location: Wetherill Park
Pay Rate: $35.95 per hour incl
Hours: Monday to Friday Day shift 6am-2pm
General Labourer’s to join a busy production team in Wetherill Park. This is a practical, physical role working with tyre retreads, it’s a dirty environment, so you’ll need to be comfortable getting your hands dirty and working around used tyres every day.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be trained across the full tyre retreading process, including:
- Inspecting tyres inside and out to assess condition
- Using electrical and laser-based technology to identify internal faults
- Buffing and shaping tyre casings
- Completing repairs and preparing casings for new tread
- Applying new tread using automated machinery
- Curing, finishing, and completing final quality checks
Important to know:
- This is a hands-on, Manual Handling role in an industrial environment — not a clean warehouse
- You’ll be working with used tyre casings and rubber dust
- Full training is provided, so we’re looking for someone who is willing to commit long-term and learn the process properly
