The position works within a small team and is responsible, under direction of the Project Director and the Senior Archivist, for digital archive preparation and curation of historical and contemporary archives being compiled for a major project for the Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation (EMAC). The project seeks to identify and protect their funerary sites, and is a partnership also with the University of Melbourne. The successful candidate should have experience working on digital humanities projects and good skills in relation to data management and analysis. Their skill-set should bridge digital archive curation and historical research if possible, with a priority on the former.
