Professional Lending Solutions is seeking an experienced commercial finance professional to join our Bundall team.

This role suits an established commercial finance broker or commercial/business banker who can analyse complex financial information, structure lending solutions and build lasting client relationships.

The opportunity

You will manage lending enquiries from initial assessment through to settlement, working directly with clients, lenders and referral partners. Alongside servicing existing relationships, you will identify and develop new lending opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing company and trust financial statements, tax returns and supporting documents to determine income, appropriate add-backs and borrowing capacity.

• Structuring lending solutions around each client’s circumstances and objectives.

• Researching lender policies, assessing credit fit and preparing clear client proposals.

• Preparing and submitting loan applications, managing lender queries and progressing files through approval to settlement.

• Keeping clients informed, obtaining supporting documents and resolving lending issues.

• Building relationships with bankers, referral partners and clients to generate repeat and new business.

• Maintaining accurate client records and application updates in our CRM.

• Sharing your knowledge and helping other brokers and support staff understand complex self-employed lending scenarios.

About you

You bring a sales mindset, sound credit judgement and the ability to explain complex lending matters clearly.

You will have:

• Relevant experience in commercial finance broking, business banking or commercial lending.

• Strong financial analysis skills, including confidence interpreting company and trust financials and assessing self-employed income.

• Experience structuring loans and preparing well-supported credit applications.

• The ability to take ownership of applications and manage competing priorities.

• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to responsive, professional service.

• A proactive approach to business development and building referral relationships.

• A collaborative attitude and willingness to support and mentor colleagues.

• Relevant finance, banking or mortgage broking qualifications will be highly regarded.
