Profectus is seeking an experienced Workstream Lead to run a group of related projects on a registry modernisation program within an Australian Government agency. The program spans more than 20 projects across three workstreams, and is replacing an ADABAS/Natural mainframe, Siebel CRM and Lotus Notes environment with Dynamics 365, OutSystems/.NET, Databricks, Boomi, AWS and Azure. The work covers workstream planning and budget, leading project managers and cross-functional teams, integration with other workstreams and reporting to program governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a workstream of projects in support of the Senior Responsible Officer and Program Director
- Manage the workstream plan, budget, scope, dependencies and delivery outcomes
- Lead project managers and cross-functional teams across business, technology, data and change
- Integrate delivery with other workstreams, architecture, product and delivery partners
- Manage workstream risks, issues and dependencies and eliminate early
- Report workstream status, forecasts and decisions to program governance
- Engage business owners and policy and legal stakeholders to resolve blockers and confirm approvals
- Coach and pair with agency project managers and give structured feedback
- Leave workstream governance artefacts and practices the agency can run independently
Required Experience
- 10+ years in project and program delivery
- 3+ years leading multiple concurrent projects
- Delivering technology-enabled business change in government or regulated environments
- Planning, financial and dependency management
- Leading teams in agile or hybrid delivery
- Stakeholder engagement and negotiationCoaching and developing project managers
- CRM, digital service or legacy system replacement programs
- Registry, licensing or regulatory reform
- PRINCE2, PMP, MSP or SAFe certification
Security Clearance Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must have a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (minimum)
Working Arrangements
- Onsite at client premises
- Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane or Traralgon (VIC)
