A full-time job has become available in our company. A probation period will be required. Applicants will be required to have a trade certificate, be able to handle large and heavy equipment, have a current drivers license and to have knowledge of operation of power tools and machinery.
Our company manufactures heavy duty steel fixtures, including many custom made trolleys, workbenches, gates and posts.
The successful applicant will be required to carry out the following;
- Study 2D CAD drawings and specifications to determine the correct material, sequence of operations and machine settings.
- Fitting and fabricating metal/Steel parts and assembling material as per design
- Checking fabricated metal parts accuracy, clearance and confirming design requirements
- Confirming design meets load and capacity requirements
- Equipment to be used:
- Power Tools: Grinder
- Band Saw
- MIG/TIG/STICK Welder
- Drilling /Pedestal Drill
- CNC /Plasma / Laser
- Safety Clothing required: Safety Work Boots, Long Sleeve, Or Short Sleeve shirts, Trousers
- Hours of Work: 38 Hours Per Week
- Minimum 2.5 years Welder
- Qualifications for this trade is preferable
- Select and prepare appropriate materials as per design
- Maintain correct dimensions as per designs
- Confidently assemble and weld materials
- Have a great attitude, a willingness to learn and enjoy working in a team environment
- The Base rate for the successful applicant is between $72,000 to $82,000 depending on experience
- 4 Weeks holiday leave and 10 Days Sick/Personal Leave Provided
