We're looking for an experienced Store Manager | Retail Operations Manager to take ownership of the store. This is a senior role for an experienced professional who genuinely loves retail. You'll lead the team, run operations and be accountable for sales and store performance, with the support of an owner who values your experience and judgement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the team
- Prepare rosters and allocate daily responsibilities
- Set and maintain customer service standards
- Oversee daily operations from opening to close
- Manage cash handling, balancing and store security
- Maintain a clean, organised and well presented store
- Manage sales and KPIs, with weekly reporting to the owner
- Identify opportunities to grow sales and profit
- Plan promotions, seasonal campaigns and displays
- Manage online sales and social media
About you
- 5 or more years' experience as a retail store manager or a similar role
- A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership skills and a calm, organised approach
- Good knowledge of stock control, merchandising and retail
- Confident with technology, including POS systems, websites and social media management
- Reliable, professional and comfortable working alongside the team
