Priority Optometry is a brand-new, independent Eyecare Plus practice in Keperra. We’re after an experienced optical dispenser who enjoys helping patients find the right eyewear and is happy to keep the front desk running smoothly too.
Dispensing side responsibilities
- Help patients choose frames and lenses, including multifocals and sunglasses
- Take measurements, place orders and check finished jobs before collection
- Do fittings, adjustments and minor repairs
Admin side responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage phones, emails and bookings
- Send recalls and appointment reminders
- Process Tyro claims and payments, and balance the till at the end of the day
- Keep patient records and orders up to date in Optomate
- Follow up lab jobs and receive and organise stock
Requirements
- A Cert IV in Optical Dispensing (completed or in progress), or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years’ dispensing experience, including progressive lenses
- Someone organised and reliable, with a warm, professional manner
- A new practice with modern equipment
- A real say in how the dispensary runs as we grow
