Chemist Discount Centre Warragul is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Dispensary Technician to join our friendly and supportive team. As part of Prime Pharmacy Group, you’ll be joining a growing pharmacy group with 23 stores, where we’re passionate about our people, our communities and providing quality healthcare. Located in the heart of Warragul, Chemist Discount Centre Warragul is proud to provide quality healthcare and pharmacy services to our local community seven days a week. Our services include prescription dispensing, Webster packing, immunizations and a range of professional pharmacy services, all delivered with genuine care and a focus on our patients. Our dispensary operates using Fred NXT Plus.
Trading Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9.00 am – 7.00 pm
- Saturday: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
- Sunday: 10.00 am – 3.00 pm
About the Role
As a Dispensary Technician, you’ll play an important role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the dispensary runs efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions
- Receiving and processing prescriptions
- Assisting with the supply of medications
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Assisting with Webster packing where required
- Maintaining a clean, organized and compliant dispensary
- Supporting stock management and replenishment
- Working closely with our pharmacists and wider pharmacy team
- Assisting with general pharmacy duties as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has Dispensary Technician qualifications and/or relevant community pharmacy experience
- Has experience working within a busy dispensary environment
- Is confident using pharmacy dispensing software, with Fred NXT Plus experience highly regarded
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is friendly, approachable and customer focused
- Is reliable, organized and proactive
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Has strong communication skills and enjoys being part of a team
