The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Family Lawyer to join our growing Townsville team. This position offers a solid foundation to build a rewarding, long-term career in family law practice. You will work on a diverse and meaningful caseload, handling key responsibilities that include:
- Property and financial settlements
- Parenting and children’s matters
- Domestic Violence matters
What You Bring
Whether you have practiced family law before or are looking to change practice areas, you will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality legal services. We want to hear from you if you have a passion for client-focused advocacy and meet the following criteria:
- A keen interest in family law and helping clients navigate complex situations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Confidence in running your own files, with supervision available when needed
- A genuine enjoyment of court work
- Self-motivation and the initiative to see matters through to completion
- Experience working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Ideally 1-2 years PAE, however, recent law graduates with a keen interest in family law will also be considered
