About the job

Are you driven by innovation and energised by building scalable, high-impact solutions? We're looking for an Integration Developer who thrives at the intersection of business and technology; someone who can connect core systems and enable a fast-growing national organisation to scale with confidence. Join one of Australia's fastest-growing retail organisations in the outdoor adventure and lifestyle sector. With a national footprint and ambitious growth plans for 2026, we pride ourselves on innovation, teamwork, and delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences.

If you're ready to help shape the digital backbone of a dynamic enterprise, this role offers the opportunity to create meaningful, lasting impact.

About the Role

As an Integration Developer, you will play a crucial role in helping the business rapidly adapt its strategy and adopt market-leading technologies with minimal risk. This hands-on role focuses on accelerating time-to-value and supporting the organisation's growth strategy by architecting and building scalable integrations using modern technologies. Working closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders, you will help build a seamless, secure, high-performing data ecosystem that supports millions of transactions and connects hundreds of internal and external systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and optimise the Cloud Integration Platform (iPaaS), driving enhancements and extending business applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design integration patterns, and deliver solutions
  • Lead small integration projects and coordinate with vendors for support, upgrades, and implementations
  • Provide support by troubleshooting issues, delivering training, and creating documentation and knowledge articles
  • Ensure security of integration endpoints and compliance with licensing, patching, and governance policies
  • Monitor integration performance, manage user access, and support testing, deployment, and change management
  • Build reusable, version-controlled integrations and maintain scalable, high-availability cloud infrastructure

About You

  • Hands-on, solution-focused team player who pushes boundaries and never settles for average
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP, XML, CSV integrations, and cloud-based integration architectures
  • High standards for documentation, security, error handling, and system governance
  • Extensive AWS experience and advanced coding skills in complex environments
  • Skilled at modernising legacy systems and driving process improvements
  • Experienced in creating user training, support materials, and managing compliance requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science; Masters would be advantageous
  • 5+ years experience in Agile Software Development
  • 5+ years hands-on experience integrating systems
  • Experience with Mulesoft or Workato integrations
  • Security Engineer or Associate certification

Why Join Us?

  • Impactful Work: Play a key role in shaping workplace culture across a national organisation.
  • Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development and progression within a supportive team.
  • Collaborative Culture: Be part of a people-first environment that values innovation, respect, and teamwork.
  • Stability: Join an established, respected organisation with strong growth plans for 2026.
