KIN Bar & Dining at Point Hotel is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in Brisbane.
This permanent part-time opportunity offers approximately 20–24 hours per week, with evening shifts between Tuesday and Saturday. You’ll work in a brand-new kitchen, take ownership of your section and contribute to a seasonal menu under the guidance of our Executive Chef. Casual employment may also be considered.

About the role
You will manage your allocated section, prepare and present dishes consistently, and help deliver smooth evening services. Your responsibilities will include preparation, stock rotation, waste reduction, food safety and supporting junior team members.
About you
We’re looking for a qualified chef with experience running a section independently during busy service. You will bring:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills
- Experience preparing and presenting plated desserts is desirable
- A calm, organised approach and clear communication
- Sound food safety and hygiene knowledge
- Availability for the advertised evening roster, including relevant weekends and public holidays
- Australian working rights that allow you to fulfil the roster
