P&J Harris and Sons are seeking a motivated and organised cook who can work independently and enjoys preparing hearty, nutritious meals for a crowd.
You'll be part of a team of more than 40 staff at our farm located 100 km west of Moree in North West NSW.
Key responsibilities
- Cook breakfast and dinner and prepare grab-and-go lunches for approximately 20 farm staff
- Plan menus, manage food stock and order supplies
- Cater for staff events, meetings and training
- Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
- Maintain the farm quarters, including cleaning common areas and light gardening
- Welcome new staff and manage room allocations
About you
- Demonstrated experience cooking for groups and managing stock
- Solid understanding of food safety and handling
- Able to work independently
- Take pride in maintaining a welcoming, well-kept environment for the team
