This is a fully remote role. Applicants must be based in Australia.
What you will do
- Build and maintain product features across frontend and backend services
- Create accessible interfaces with Next. js and React
- Develop and integrate Node. js, Python and REST API services
- Write readable, tested code and respond constructively to review
- Investigate defects and improve product reliability
- Document technical decisions and implementation details
- Learn the production stack and take ownership of progressively larger changes
- What we are looking for
- Working knowledge of Node. js and Next. js
- Working knowledge of Python
- Java Script or Type Script, HTML and CSS fundamentals
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, Git and databases
- Problem-solving ability demonstrated through personal, college or open-source work
- Clear written communication in a fully remote team
- Nice to have
- React and Tailwind CSS
- Express or another Node. js server framework
