When you join Pitcher Partners, you’re joining a team with heart. We support each other and learn together. We’re deliberate about fostering relationships that nurture and empower every individual.
The Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning team plays a critical strategic role for Pitcher Partners by anticipating future workforce demand, building capability, and ensuring the firm attracts, develops, and retains high-performing graduates and experienced professionals. The team partners closely with senior leadership to provide market insights, talent trends, and candidate feedback to influence hiring decisions and plays a key role in the growth of the company.
As a Talent Partner, you will proactively source high-quality candidates from new grads to Directors. You will use a range of sourcing channels, including university relationships, careers fairs, market mapping, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and other creative sourcing techniques to build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. To do so effectively, you will partner closely with stakeholders in your portfolio to deeply understand role requirements and team culture. You will also conduct candidate screening to assess capability, motivation, values, and role fit while delivering a professional and inclusive candidate experience.
Here are some of the key qualifications, skills, and personal attributes we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in candidate sourcing in a talent short market, utilising various tools to engage professionals through direct outreach.
- Some exposure to running a volume recruitment campaign, ideally in an early careers setting.
- Confident communicator and negotiator - able to engage both senior leadership and sought-after candidates and be recognised as a subject matter expert.
- A self-starter, results driven and passionate about what you do.
- Experience recruiting accounting and finance professionals or knowledge of WorkDay would be advantageous, but not a pre-requisite.
At Pitcher Partners, we support you to lead your way with tailored development programs, study assistance, and secondment opportunities. You can enjoy flexible work arrangements, generous leave options, and wellbeing initiatives including mental health support and onsite wellness activities. Located right next door to Southern Cross Station, we offer a vibrant workplace with free barista made coffee and a culture that invests in your growth. We’re proud to be a WORK180 Endorsed Employer for All Women, earned through our continued commitment to the careers of women by offering benefits and policies that support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The recruitment process usually includes a phone screen, two interviews, and a role-specific case study. Our team will guide you through the process and provide all necessary information. Actively improving diversity in our workforce is central to our purpose; we strongly encourage applications from under-represented backgrounds and groups. We are committed to responding to every applicant as a Circle Back Initiative Employer.
