Who are we?
Pirate Life was founded in 2014. After a five-day journey across the Nullarbor Plain, we landed in Adelaide, established a brewery, and spent the next seven years building a brand. In that time, we’ve gone from three founders to a crew of over one hundred, built four venues across Australia and cemented ourselves as one of the country’s most recognisable craft brands.

The role:
We’re looking for an experienced, customer-focused Venue Manager to join our team full-time. This hands-on role will lead the front of house management team in the day-to-day operations of the venue, support seamless kitchen coordination, and champion exceptional customer experiences. You’ll play a key role in the business’s financial success whilst developing our people, nurturing a positive team culture, and ensuring the venue operates smoothly and consistently.
Responsibilities include:
Hands on leadership and accountability of the front of house team
Creating and maintaining an atmosphere where customer service comes first
An ability to thrive under pressure and lead your team in a high paced environment
Proven ability to be a proactive individual with strong organisational and time management skills
A strong understanding and ability to control operational costs; including (but not limited to) cost of goods and wage costs
A strong appreciation and compliance of workplace safety
A love to lead from the front and set the best of examples
What You've Got:
Suitable experience in a similar role of hospitality management
You’re driven by a delivering the best customer experience and making the venue (and the people in it) feel good
Passion for the hospitality industry spanning across all areas including food and beverage.
A keen interest in people, your team, and the ability to manage their development

This is a full-time role, working a spread of shifts over a 7-day roster;including week days, weekends, nights and public holidays.
