WE'RE HIRING A PLUMBER — BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY WE'RE HIRING THE PERSON.
Brisbane | Sunshine Coast | Full-Time | Great Pay + Vehicle + Plenty of Overtime if you want it
There are plenty of plumbing jobs advertised at the moment.
So instead of giving you the usual list of tools, tickets and years of experience we're looking for, we'll tell you what actually matters to us.
We want someone with a good attitude and some common sense.
Someone who turns up when they say they will.
Someone who reads the job before they start it.
Someone who sees a problem and thinks about how to solve it.
Someone who isn't afraid to ask a question if they're unsure.
Someone who notices the little things.
Someone who doesn't walk past a problem because "that's not my job."
Someone who treats a customer's home with respect.
Someone who can have a laugh, get along with the team and still get the job done.
And most importantly, someone who actually cares about doing a good job.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Pipewise Plumbing is a fast-paced Sunshine Coast plumbing company working across maintenance, insurance, leak detection, drainage, hot water, roof plumbing and construction.
The work is varied and sometimes you'll come across jobs where the answer isn't immediately obvious.
That's where common sense matters.
We don't expect you to know everything.
If there's an area you're not experienced in, we can teach you.
If you make a genuine mistake, we'll work through it.
If you don't know something, ask.
What we can't teach is giving a sh*t.
YOU'LL FIT IN WITH US IF YOU:
- Have a plumbing qualification and relevant licences
- Have a good attitude
- Use common sense
- Take pride in your work
- Can follow instructions
- Think before you act
- Communicate when something isn't going to plan
- Ask questions rather than guess
- Own your mistakes and help fix them
- Treat customers, their homes and your teammates with respect
- Can work independently without needing someone to constantly chase you
- Want to keep learning and becoming a better tradesperson
- Are the sort of person your teammates can rely on
You don't need to be the world's best plumber.
We'd rather employ someone with the right attitude who wants to learn than someone who thinks they already know everything.
WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN
We expect a lot from our team, but we also believe good people should be looked after.
- Great hourly rate based on experience
- Take home Company vehicle
- Overtime opportunities
- Phone allowance
- Full-time, secure employment
- Varied work — not the same job every day
- Support from an established office and field team
- Training and opportunities to develop your skills
- Opportunity to progress as the business grows
- A workplace where effort and initiative are noticed and rewarded
- A team that works hard, has a laugh and backs each other, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY
Pipewise is busy and growing, and we're deliberately building a team of good people who take pride in what they do.

And if you're reading this thinking:
"That's just basic common sense..."
You're probably the person we want to hear from.
