Qualified Plumber | Gas Fitting Experience
Sydney Inner Suburbs | Full-Time
We are a small, established plumbing business specialising in high-end residential renovations, extensions and bespoke builds. We work mainly throughout Sydney's Inner West and surrounding suburbs.
We are looking for an experienced Qualified Plumber to join our team on a full-time basis.
The role is primarily focused on quality residential plumbing, with gas fitting experience highly regarded. The ability and willingness to carry out gas work when required, and develop your gas servicing and diagnostic skills, would be a real advantage.
The Role
- Plumbing for high-end residential renovations and extensions
- Bespoke residential plumbing installations and fit-offs
- Alterations and additions to existing plumbing systems
- General residential plumbing
- Gas fitting and installation work as required
- Some residential maintenance, although this will make up only a small part of the role
- Gas fault finding and servicing work
- Working independently and taking ownership of your work
- Liaising professionally with builders, trades and homeowners
- Some travel and working away from home may be required
- Overtime may be available and, at times, expected
About You
- Relevant plumbing & gas qualifications and or NSW licensing.
- Solid experience in residential plumbing
- Experience working on renovations, extensions or high-end residential projects
- Gas fitting experience or qualifications
- Confidence working independently and solving problems on site
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Professional presentation and communication
- A reliable and positive attitude
- A current driver's licence
- A willingness to travel when required
Experience in gas servicing, fault finding and diagnostics would be highly regarded.
If you're a competent gas fitter but have limited servicing experience, training and development will be provided to the right person.
What We Offer
- Full-time, ongoing position
- $45–$65/hr + super, depending on experience and qualifications
- Fully maintained work vehicle for the right candidate
- Work phone or eSIM
- Performance bonus structure
- Quarterly performance reviews
- Flexible working hours where practical
- Overtime opportunities
- Variety of high-quality residential work
- Opportunities to develop your gas servicing and diagnostic skills
- Work across Sydney, primarily in the Inner West and surrounding suburbs
- Some travel and working away when required
- A small, professional team with a good working environment
The Right Fit
We're looking for someone who enjoys quality residential plumbing, takes pride in their workmanship and wants to be part of a small business where reliability, initiative and a good attitude are valued.
This role would suit a plumber who enjoys working on interesting renovation and extension projects, rather than repetitive large-scale construction or predominantly maintenance work.
Gas fitting experience is a valuable addition to the role, but we are hiring a plumber first. If you're interested in expanding your gas fitting, servicing and diagnostic skills, we'll support the right person to do that.
If you're an experienced plumber looking for a varied role with quality work, good equipment and the opportunity to develop your skills, we’d like to hear from you.
