Social Media Marketing Manager in Melbourne

Pinnacle Fitness Consulting is seeking a dynamic and creative

Social Media Marketing Manager to join our growing team.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in The South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

As Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing our social media strategy across all platforms.

This role is pivotal in building our brand presence, engaging our audience and driving business growth through strategic social media initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to shape how Pinnacle Fitness Consulting connects with its followers, prospects, community and establishes itself as a thought leader in the fitness consulting industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives across all major platforms including Instagram, Facebook and You Tube
• Create, curate and publish engaging content including videos, graphics, copy and interactive posts tailored to different audience segments
• Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and generate regular reports on key metrics, engagement rates and ROI
• Manage social media advertising campaigns and optimise budgets to maximise reach and conversion
• Engage with followers through comments, messages and community management to build brand loyalty and foster meaningful conversations
• Manage our in-house team including our editor and Meta marketing specialists to ensure consistency across the company
• Identify emerging social media trends and platforms to keep Pinnacle Fitness Consulting ahead of the competition
• Respond to customer inquiries and manage brand reputation across social platforms
• Manage and track all inbound communication from prospects and leads to ensure timly response times in order to hit company targets
• Conduct competitor analysis and stay informed of industry best practices in social media marketing
• Develop social media content calendars and maintain an organised posting schedule

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar marketing communications role
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, best practices and current trends
• Demonstrated expertise in content creation and copywriting for social media audiences
• Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social or Meta Business Suite
• Experience managing social media advertising campaigns and understanding of paid social strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative campaign ideas and concepts
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations
• Solid understanding of the fitness industry is desirable
• Experience with video editing and graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar is essential
• Experience shooting content/videography is highly advantageous.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• The ability to manage a team and take ownership for your department
